Green gold for Carlton Beach

With proud we present, that Carlton Beach is the first hotel in Scheveningen that recieved the golden Green Key-certificate. This international award is for businesses in the tourism and leisure industry that are serious and verifiable trying to support sustainable ways of running a business.

To obtain the Green Key-certificate Carlton Beach profiles itself as a location with a heart for sustainability that is attractive for meetings and events.

"For some time we are working on reducing the invironmental impact in general for our hotel, but we look further then the legislation requires. With the Green Key-certificate we are awarded for the efforts in recent times. This will also support us to find new enviroment-saving measures. Green Key also fits perfect with our goal: to strenghen a sustainable location in a natural setting of dunes, beach and sea, said General Manager Rens Jan Slot.
